Bloom Day - March 2018
A nice mild, sunny day to get out and capture a few late winter blooms. Here's what's blooming in my Zone 8a garden in South Carolina:
This time last, we already had southern indica azaleas and bearded irises blooming but I think the colder winter and recent frosts have delayed them this year. The daffodils have come and gone already. I've spotted Saucer Magnolia and Eastern Redbud in bloom around town but the small trees I planted in my yard last year have yet to break bud.

ReplyDelete'Ascot Rainbow' is wonderful!
Happy Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day!
Thanks Lea. I recommend ‘Ascot Rainbow’ Euphorbia to anyone who will listen! It looks great year round and I’ve yet to see a pest or disease issue.
DeleteI love Ascot Rainbow too! I’m a big euphorbia fan. Lovely to see your garden!
DeleteThanks for stopping by Ali. I’m hoping to add to more Euphorbias to my garden soon. I’d love to have E. wulfenii.
