Bloom Day - March 2018
A nice mild, sunny day to get out and capture a few late winter blooms. Here's what's blooming in my Zone 8a garden in South Carolina:
This time last, we already had southern indica azaleas and bearded irises blooming but I think the colder winter and recent frosts have delayed them this year. The daffodils have come and gone already. I've spotted Saucer Magnolia and Eastern Redbud in bloom around town but the small trees I planted in my yard last year have yet to break bud.
